1971 Volkswagen Beetle

After venturing through Goodwood Revival I came across this awesome Volkswagen Beetle. As I had an immediate liking towards it I did what any 3d artist would do and took a 3d scan of it... It was a lot of fun!

Inspired by a 1971 VW Beetle, it features a 5 inch roof chop, 10 inch front beam extender, 10 inch wide rear wheels & 16 inches in diameter, painted in an colorful Porsche Miami Blue - perfect for the summers of the UK. As of this project, the car is 95% complete with electronics and radio to wire up as well as a lorry horn to finish. This car features on my Final Major Project piece for university where it is rendered in UE5.
